It was a very close match till it was 11-9 then after than Phil Taylor just gets changes gear and cruises past the Dutch master Raymond van Barneveld to win hsi 11th Matchplay crown and also his third title in a row at Blackpool. This is an outstanding achievement from, undoubtedly the best dart player of all times and it doesn’t look like Phil will stop with this. He said he will continue to try and win every championship he plays in.
Raymond van Barneveld did make it a good match when he fought back to only trail by two after that Taylor gone up a gear or two and finished the game 18-12. This man seems to produce the goods when needed. Raymond did not play a bad match but Taylor was just miles ahead of him in scoring high numbers.
Taylor, now 49 has won Matchplay crown three years in a row and it doesn’t look like he is going to stop anytime soon. He was interviewed after the match when he said no matter how many times I win this trophy it always feels great holding it in my hand. Looks like he still wants to win more tournaments and plenty more fire in that belly. All the guy is trying to say is he will try and keep winning and his opponents will have to improve vastly to beat him or wait till he retires.
In darts Phil Taylor is certainly head and shoulder above everyone else. So it is very hard to step up and beat him. Phil beat Raymond with ease and Raymond is World number two behind Phil.
I organise dart championship within a cruise ship from Regent cruises and Holland America cruises for last 15 years. I certainly cannot play like Phil or any of the profession but I sure love watching darts.
It is pretty safe to say that there are many places across the world that people would not have thought about going before and you really are missing out because they are great. I am not talking about one of those spa breaks or dancing holidays here, something a bit different!

Last weekend Spain finally won their first ever World Cup in South Africa. 3 years ago people have always been saying Spain have always under performed even though they are one of the great footballing nations of the World. 2010 World cup is being hosted first time in African soil and many bookmakers have Argentine, Spain, England and Brazil as favourites. I definitely see Brazil and Spain being the favourite but I question the other selections of the bookies. The pitches in South Africa seem to be quick so it will suit passing teams such as Brazil, Argentina and Spain other than long ball teams such as Italy and England. (more…)
Spains beat Holland to win the final
The year 2010 will be remembered for two massive reason in the coming future. One because Spain won it’s first ever World cup and second being the first ever World cup hosted in African soil. South Africa became the first African hosts of the World cup in 2010 and next up we will be in Brazil in 2014. Vuvuzela was definitely one of the biggest selling items in the World cup in South Africa even though there were complaints from people about the noise.
