For either adults or kids, trampolines are great to exercise and socialise. It is brilliant fun but it also has several prove fitness and health benefits! Standard and regular use of trampolines increases your fitness and muscle strength by elevating the pulse rate of your body and also ensures oxygen is pumped around more efficiently. A good trampolining session, will make you feel healthier like any aerobic exercise and on top of that because they are used outdoors, fresh air is an added bonus.

Trampolines are often recommended by doctors following a heart attack to help strengthen the heart and in comparison to jogging, trampolining produces more aerobic exercise faster. A ten minute trampolining session provides the same health benefits as a half hour run and is much more entertaining to boot! Trampolining also uses almost every muscle in the body, especially the stomach muscles, arms and legs, so the activity is ideal to keep your tummy trim, your bottom toned and your thighs slim.

While recognising all these health and fitness benefits, the biggest concern many parents have with trampolines is safety, especially when they are used almost exclusively by the kids. Circular 12ft trampolines, 14ft trampolines 10ft trampolines, 8ft trampolines from big, reputable brands normally incorporate safety nets, which encloses the trampoline and avoids any falls or tumbles. Mostly injuries occur on the mat, but big brands and better makes generally have double bounce system. This uses cushioned sprung and two layers of well padded mats to decrease the risk of an accident, it also provides a very friendly bounce for kids and adults and also can hald upto 17 stone adult (but bare is mind that if you use trampolines regularly, you will lost 17 stone in no time!)

Trampolines for outdoor garden are circular to encourage all the bounce is towards the centre for safety reasons and maximum rebound. Where as rectangular trampolines are intended for athletes, so this might be a good option if you just want it for fun in the back garden. So helping to strengthen bones, trimming, toning tums and bums, improving fitness and even detoxing your lymphatic system are all side effects of trampolining. To be honest it might just be your mental health that would improve the most. The sheer exuberant fun of jumping up and down in a safe environment is guaranteed to make you smile or laugh out loud and that will make anyone of any age feel really happy!
