pAll of the animals that are endangered are going these ways for different reasons. But what do we think the main key is between these animals going extinct. To be honest we are the problem!!–more–/pp/ppAn endangered species is a term used to describe a species whose numbers have become so low it is at risk of becoming extinct. However there are a few planetary problems that we cannot anticipate, and of course survival of the fittest doesnt have everything to do with us. But we havent exactly been the most angelic of all these Species. First of all when a safari was first started it was designed as a hunting party for rich people to hunt animals that were considered a thrill to catch. The animals were hunted down and killed, because of this there are few of them left in the world./pp/ppWe do not hunt all that many animals now as we did say a hundred years ago (mainly because they are all gone). All of the endangered species like the Tiger, Lion and Rhino are all protected. We instead are now trying to save as many creatures on the planet without directly injuring or killing them. a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/ target=_blankSafari/a is the best way to get people on side, or to teach them about some of the problems in the world. a href=http://www.holidays4scubadiving.co.uk/ target=_blankDiving holidays/a have become very popular in the eyes of many governments to try and the marine life before it gets to even worse stages./pp/ppPollution is proving to be another major problem; we may not be shooting these animals anymore. We are however slowly damaging there health and changing their surrounding climates. We need to start showing people what they can do to help save the planet, yet enjoy themselves at the same time. a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/kenya-holidays/ target=_blankKenya safari/a holidays are a great way to have fun and see the world./p
pThe thing with going on safari here is that you will be able to see the Big Five. The reason these animals got the name The Big Five was because hunters in the 1800s believed them to be the hardest to catch and the most dangerous./pp/ppThe proud pride owner the Lion.!–more– This powerful animal is only the second of the big four cats, before the tiger. Lions in general are keystone predators which means they hunt and take down their own food, rather than scavenge, although if the opportunity arises they will take it. In some strange and interesting cases, the Lion has been known to attack people, and sometimes it even has stalked Humans as food./pp/ppThe ever majestic African Elephant. These massive beasts weigh an impressive average of about 5 and half tonnes and can reach over 3 metres tall. An elephant has 4 molars for teeth and they are each 12 inches long, and weigh about five kilograms. Two and a half metres long is the average length of the elephants tusks./pp/ppThen there is the Cape buffalo. Prey to the Lion you would think that this buffalo would be quite scared and timid, but its quite the opposite some buffalo have been known to kill Lions that attack them. The Cape buffalo is regarded as one of the most dangerous animals in Mara; it is a very short temper and is reported to have killed about 200 people every year./pp/ppThe Black Rhinoceros. This very large animal has not been very successfully named, and we need to look at the White Rhino to understand why. The Black and White Rhino are so similar in colour its almost impossible to tell them apart by looking at their skin. The White Rhino was actually a mistranslation from the Dutch word Weit. The White Rhino actually has a wide square like lip and this is what the Dutch translation is, the Black Rhino has a much more pointed lip, this is one of the easiest ways to tell them apart./pp/ppFinally the Leopard. This is the smallest of the Big Cats, but is by no means the slowest. Although this cat is the smallest of the bunch, this feline can reach speeds of 36 mph and make a vertical jump 3 metres up. Swimming and climbing surrounding trees is the Leopards true forte./pp/ppSo if you would like to go and see the Big Five then why not try a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/kenya-holidays/ target=_blankKenya holidays/a, a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/tanzania-holidays/ target=_blankTanzania holidays/a or a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/zambia-holidays/ target=_blankZambia holidays/a. You will find them around these key locations./p
pThe Serengeti is a beautiful and extremely diverse national park. It is located in north western Tanzania. This location is host to many wonders for us to marvel at.!–more– The Serengeti is massively famous, so lets divulge into the depths of this mysterious place./pp/ppThe word Serengeti is actually derived from the Maasai language meaning endless plains. The Maasai people were a very strong tribe and they populated much of the Serengeti, when the Europeans came to the land of Tanzania, they left many of the animals alone because they didnt want to annoy the Maasai people. The well named Serengeti is well suited to its literal meaning, because it spans an area of around thirty thousand kilometres squared./pp/ppThe main event that the Serengeti is famous for is the Circular Migration. From July to early October is the time span in which this Circular migration travels. Over 2 million herbivores travel up through the Serengeti over the Mara River following the rains that will provide them with food and water. They continue up into the Masai Mara reserve, a popular destination for a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/kenya-holidays/ target=_blankKenya holidays/a and safaris./pp/ppThe Serengeti also has its very own active volcano called Ol Doinyo Lengai. This volcano still erupts sending forth clouds of ash which disrupt plant growth across the land. Tanzania contains around five hundred and fifty Avifauna, or as most of us know them, bird species./pp/ppIf you are interested in going on a safari, this is one of the places that should be at the top of your list. If you make in at around August to September you will be in the peak season to see the Circular Migration in action./pp/ppSo why dont you leave home and embark on an adventure on a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/tanzania-holidays/ target=_blankTanzania holidays/a or a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/zambia-holidays/ target=_blankZambia holidays/a, you wont be at all disappointed./p
pAll over the planet areas are atarting to get hotter and hotter. So if the world is getting warmer, then the original ideas for going to the Caribbean for a sunny hot holiday are being dismissed. The Sun is prevailing over the clouds right along the south coast of England.!–more–/pp/ppIn any case, is there other reasons for us to visit these places for our a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/caribbean-holidays.htm target=_blankCaribbean holidays/a, or should we just enjoy a cheaper, maybe just as warm holiday closer to home. Global warming has been having increased effects on our world since we started burning fossil fuels; one slight advantage was that the cooler places on the planet have seen a rise in temperature. The main disadvantage is that the general environment is suffering more than we anticipated. Places around the world have suffered from increased Hurricane activity which is actually caused by the mixture of hot air rising and the condensed water evaporating. These storms are damaging not only to us but also to the surrounding environment. a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/Tobago_holidays.htm target=_blankTobago holidays/a will suffer because they rely heavily on Scuba diving tours./pp/ppNow it might be getting warmer at home, but in the Caribbean it is heating up as well, and they will be suffering from other increased environmental disturbances like hurricanes or mesoscale connective systems. These Mesoscale systems are a connection of rain, thunder and lightening, all in a line and are very rare, but becoming more likely and more deadly. Relatively soon these areas are going to be changing rapidly, so heading to these destinations is of importance because in some cases you may not be able to visit there later in life. Even if you can still make it to the Caribbean in the future, it will be a very different place to what it is today. Across the world the coral reef and the great barrier reef is fading away, but this isnt the only problem, marine life is dying to. Some of the places that may have large populations like, Barbados or Cuba will have culture changes because of the change of the environment. So not only will we losing the environment we could lose some cultures along with it./pp/ppPopular destinations to get married like a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/St_Lucia_luxury_holidays.htm target=_blankSt Lucia holidays/a will slowly decline and this magnificent island will lose its tourism trade./p
pSince the world started to realise the damage being done to the planet, this question has been around. We need to find out why the coral reef is shrinking and what can be done to help? There are some reasons that everybody knows as to why the coral reefs are dying and some that arent so obvious.!–more–/pp/ppInterestingly the Caribbean contains just over 20% of the worlds coral reef and there is a huge amount of damage being done to it. In Honduras they grow several plantains; pineapple, sugar cane and bananas, they use large amounts of fertilizer. It is important to realise that the fertilizer used contains nutrients that are damaging to fish and coral. Fertilizer and erosion are the two biggest culprits for damage to the coral reef in this area and they are both caused by farming, tree felling and building of new properties. Something that doesnt really occur to us is just how important fish are to the coral reefs. The fish act like the corals personal grooming kit, they remove bacteria from the coral keeping it clean and healthy, they also eat the surrounding seaweed making sure oxygen levels stay up in the sea./pp/ppApparently fish have dropped in population rates by around 70-95%, a massive fall. When we remove fish from the sea in massive amounts, we are removing a vital part of the corals survival./pp/ppAnother problem is an obvious one, Global Warming. This is the deadliest one though, global warming helped along the way by everyone and depletes the amount or Aragonite in the ocean. This is a carbonate mineral that coral requires to stay alive and even begin growth. The acid levels in the sea are rising so fast that in about 40 years they will be so high the coral wont be able to survive./pp/ppHowever there are few things that we can do to try and help. There are some proactive schemes around that allow us to get are hands dirty and have a good time. If you do go on a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/ target=_blankluxury holidays/a or a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/caribbean-holidays.htm target=_blankCaribbean holidays/a you could have the option to go and volunteer for a coral clean up operation, where you can help clean coral underwater or on the shore. This would have to be some of the best volunteer work you could, diving with the fish and doing your bit./pp/ppAlso if you go fishing around coral, try not to drop anchor, you will tear the coral apart and damage anything living around it/pp/ppSo if your thinking about going abroad or maybe somewhere tropical, maybe some of you want to have a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/weddings-abroad/ target=_blankweddings abroad/a, it might be a good idea to get there as soon as you can. And if you want to help you could take part with some professional divers for an afternoon and clean the coral, it wont be long before its all gone./p

The last week of June this year saw UK temperatures soar to a reported 35 degrees Celsius (or 95 in Fahrenheit), the highest recorded for three years. It was also the highest recorded temperature in June for many years - the average for June is 19-22 degrees Celcius (around 70 degrees Fahrenheit).!–more–/ppYet one of the things thats bound to happen in a country which hardly ever sees a proper summer, people start to go a bit loopy./pp/ppstrongSunburn City/strong/ppThe first thing British people do when even the smallest amount of sun is spotted is get their kit off. You can visit any town in Britain during such weather and be sure of spotting hordes of people fighting for a good patch to sun themselves. Pretty soon this means millions of red skinned, peeling folks and most likely a spike in skin cancer scares a few months down the line./pp/ppstrongThe Complaining Starts/strong/ppTrue to form, the British mentality cant deal with simply being happy and counting there blessings for more than a few days. Inevitably complaints about it being too unbearably hot and sticky soon became commonplace, and people started longing for cooler conditions again. And, inevitably, there were petitions to demand the government do something about the awful hot weather and lack of a href=http://www.airandwatercentre.com target=_blankair conditioning/a in public places!/pp/ppstrongStaying Cool/strong/ppWith one section of the UK population is getting into their beach wear and throwing themselves on deckchairs directly under the sun, the remainder rushes down to the high street and sucks up the entire stock of a href=http://www.airandwatercentre.com/store/SEURLF/ASP/SFS/CID.5/SFE/productcategories.htm target=_blankdesk fans/a like some sweaty, many-headed monster. According to Google, searches for the term a href=http://www.airandwatercentre.com/store/SEURLF/ASP/SFS/CID.1/SFE/productcategories.htm target=_blankportable air conditioner/a in the UK went from 9,900 in May to 49,500 in June!/pp/ppstrongIs That a Storm Cloud on the Horizon?/strong/ppUnfortunately these Mediterranean conditions failed to stick around, and after a week of this there were equally severe thunderstorms and rain, leading to severe flooding in some parts. Many environmental campaigners are pointing to these extremities as yet more evidence of the effects of climate change. Predictably, everyone is now moaning and complaining about the wind and rain, and wishing the heatwave would come back. I guess theres no winning./pp/p
pIs sea air actually that go for you, everyone seems to have the concept that sea air is great fresh air, but how good is it? Lets start with the good points to going on a beach holiday, and why it is good for your health, then we can make a decision later/ppWhats better than going to the beach and having a good swim? Its argued that swimming is the best form of exercise; this is because you use every muscle in your body, and you get your heart pumping at a constant rate too.!–more– Even while you swim you can have fun and in doing so you are making your heart work harder, therefore you get exercise while you enjoy yourself. Swimming in the sea is good for your skin and promotes skin healing. The high salt levels help to clear up acne and permanent scars./ppThe sun is also good for your skin (in small doses). The sunlight provides our skin with Vitamin D which helps to defend against skin cancer and multiple sclerosis./ppIf anything the one thing we can all agree on (as long as you have a good holiday) is that holidays are best for reducing stress levels. Stress is a cause of all kinds of medical problems ranging from skin problems to heart disease. Stress can cause health problems, and getting this under control could really help. Being able to go on a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/ target=_blankluxury holidays/a by the beach will relieve stress will help you to clear your head as well./ppNow for the bad points, lets say you were looking at a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/caribbean-holidays.htm target=_blankCaribbean holidays/a for example. Youre surrounded by beaches, everywhere you go. Getting away from the sun wont be an option. The sun although is good for you in small doses is pretty bad for in high doses, as some of you will know. You know what i mean, when we have not put enough sun tan lotion on and then skin starts to peel and we turn red, our skin just burns./ppIn recent studies it has been shown that the sea air isnt actually that brilliant for you. Usually the sea air is very clean, and in most cases is than anywhere else, but it does have some nasty substances in it. Now dont get all paranoid its not serious but it is worth noting. There is a substance that is released by animals in the sea called DMS (dimethyl sulphide), this substance floats around the sea and the beaches and irritates the eyes and nose, it also has that smell you detect when your at the seaside. Another substance that was discovered was nitryl chloride which is a respiratory inhibitor but is the most of it is broken down by the sun./ppSo are beach holidays good for you? Stress can really make a difference in your life so if you do go on holiday this is what you want to remove, if you do then holidays like this are good for you. The bad points arent really strong enough to deter anybody going to the seaside. So if you planning a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/weddings-abroad/ target=_blankweddings abroad/a then go for it, swim in the sea and enjoy the sun./pp/p
pThese two vacations are very different. Youre relaxing beach holiday and your adventurous Safari holiday. The thing you have to remember is this all really comes down to which is the best option for you?!–more–/pp/ppThis is all down to the person that you are. Some people just like to chill-out and sit by the sea enjoying a few well earned holiday drinks, if you do, then the beach holiday is for you. However, if youre the kind of person that likes the open outdoors surrounded by the wild, then you have to try a Safari holiday. Lets take a look at some of the main advantages and disadvantages of these./pp/ppWell start with the Safari holidays. a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/kenya-holidays/ target=_blankKenya holidays/a produce some fantastic safaris. The Masai Mara is one of the most popular Safari destinations and you could head off into the wild. These holidays offer you a wide range of things to explore, from animals to different cultures and people. Heading off on the Safari holiday wont just show you things most others wont have seen, it will fill you with knowledge as well. The thing that first comes to mind about this, is the fact you can get really close to the most wild animals on the planet, this is also the biggest advantage. While on your safari you will have a guide to look after you and take you to all the wildlife hot-spots. This sort of holiday is a once in a life time experience, and with prices up to five thousand pounds this will be more than likely./pp/ppSo then, if the adventure life isnt for you then what else is there to try? Going to the Beach and staying at a resort is always popular. You can go to the seaside and know that everyone is going to enjoy it. You can travel all over the world for a fraction of the cost of a safari holiday and still visit some great places. When you can go and swim in the deep blue ocean with white sands the beach holidays to become quite appealing. The main advantage is that the prices to go to the Caribbean will be cheaper than going to Africa. And if you think about it, if all you want to do is go to the beach you dont even need to go abroad./pp/ppIf you think youre an adventure freak, then try the safaris on a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/zambia-holidays/ target=_blankZambia holidays/a or a href=http://www.africasky.co.uk/tanzania-holidays/ target=_blankTanzania holidays/a where you can visit the Serengeti. There is always the option to grab some plane tickets and enjoy the sun in the Bahamas./pp/p
pIn order to make a decision about this topic, we need to find out what the Pros and Cons are. People have their own views on what the perfect wedding is going to be.Going abroad to have a wedding wont be everyones cup of tea, but in the current money situation you might find you even save a few pennies./pp/ppLets have a look at some of the Pros ofweddings abroad. So if your wondering about heading to somewhere like the Caribbean it will be easy to find some good points.Whats the first thing that comes to mind?!–more– The weather is not going to dissapoint, so those big clouds will be keeping there distance. Also and somehwhat strangley it appears that going abroad to get married could actually be cheaper than having your wedding at home. Because it is so expensive to have your wedding at home, many people are thinking about having thier wedding abroad to save money./pp/ppObviously the best part about it is that you can start your honeymoon straight away, no extra flights because youre already in the perfect location to have a great time. Why get married at home when you can have aluxury holidayfor your wedding./pp/ppNow we cant just look at the good parts about this, unfortunately there are some Cons. The first main reason that this might not be a good idea is that some people wont be able to make it to your wedding, they will find it hard to get some time off work and some family members either wont be able to afford it, or they could find travelling hard. One problem that might arise is that some locations have a minimum residency policy. Some countries will ask you to live where you want to have your wedding for a small amount of time, the good thing is you can enjoy the sun for a while longer./pp/ppOne more problem you might find is that the wedding you have abroad might not be recognised by the church at home, but if you dont mind having a civil ceremony followed by a blessing when you get back you can overcome this pretty easily./pp/ppSo what is the best decision? Well some people prefer church weddings, and some would like to get married on a beach, in the end this decision is yours. What is it that you would like to do on your special day, aCaribbean holidayin the place of your dreams, or at the church where you know you will have all of your family and friends to be with you?/pp/ppFor great a href=http://www.jondayphoto.co.uk/ target=_blankwedding photography/a,a href=http://www.jondayphoto.co.uk/photography-wedding-venues target=_blankwedding photographs/a and a greata href=http://www.jondayphoto.co.uk/brighton-photographer target=_blankkent wedding photographer/a/p
pDo you want to go on your a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/caribbean-holidays.htm target=_blankCaribbean holidays/a with your children, or is it a place for you to get away?/pp/ppWhen you think of the Caribbean during the day, you think of cool sandy white beaches where you can enjoy some silence. When the sun sets, these holidays become a clubbing frenzy, and bars and clubs open up for business.!–more– Why would you want to take youre children to this place then?/pp/ppa href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/Barbados_luxury_holidays.htm target=_blankBarbados holidays/a were where you could go and party at night and chill out during the day. However there are also many family based events that provide you and your children with activities to do together. The submarine trips by Atlantis Submarines are fun for you and your kids, and the beach provides fun for everybody./pp/ppThe question is do you want to take your children out there so you can have fun together, or do you go on your own to have fun. After all you will want to go out and have a romantic night out with all the beautiful scenery surrounding you. If you have noisy kids are you going to enjoy yourself?/pp/ppWell now it can work, in Barbados you can also get a baby-sitter with your hotel. When the babysitter from the hotel is there to take care of them, you can go out for the night. This means that you can enjoy a fun filled day with kids, taking them on various adventures and in the evening you can go and have fun yourself? Its not like you would need the whole holiday to yourself, only a night or two, then you can enjoy the rest with everyone./pp/ppSo you can take your children with you even if you do want a bit of alone time. a href=http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/St_Lucia_luxury_holidays.htm target=_blankSt Lucia holidays/a also provide activities for all to take part in. Holidays with your children are supposed to be fun, for you and your kids./pp/ppIts not selfish to want to go and enjoy yourself on holiday. Thanks to all these resorts we can remain confident that anywhere that we take our children they will have an enjoyable time./p
